Metasearch engine for the access to the digital archives of the Accademia della Crusca

Creation of an integrated authority file of OPAC and the Accademia’s databases.

Initially, the project included the implementation of a metasearch engine providing access to digital archives and the creation of an authority file among the preliminary and constitutive tools of the metasearch engine, paying particular attention to the records of academicians and linguists. After the reduction of the financing, the project has focused on this specific section which, once accomplished, will allow a central systematic and analytical access to all the names present in the Accademia’s databases.
